Comparing the month of May data for the last three years in the Dane County real estate market.
The average sales price in May of ‘07 was $242,675. In May of ‘06 it was $236,564. Does that mean home prices are still going up?
Year to date the average sales price is down about $3,000 in comparision to 2006 at the same time. The median home price is almost dead even. Only a $100 difference.
The average days on market for homes sold in May was 71.
The average days on market for condos sold in May was 159.
